Overview

The MicroStation expert program is a series of courses that will take you from beginner to expert level. By combining these courses you will get a significant overall cost saving of up to 20% on the price.

Financing Option: You will be allowed to finance and pay off the full amount of the course over 6 month’s interest free.

This program has been designed to provide the student with multiple certificates, locally recognized by industry for maximum employability. On completion the student will earn the following:

Step 1 MicroStation V8i Fundamentals

MicroStation Fundamentals course is designed for the new MicroStation user who requires comprehensive training in MicroStation. It incorporates the features, commands, and techniques for creating, editing, and printing drawings with MicroStation. Hands-on exercises throughout the courseware explore how to create 2D production drawings.

Step 2 MicroStation For Advanced Users

MicroStation Advanced courseware is designed for the experienced MicroStation user who requires additional training. It incorporates the features, commands, and techniques for becoming more productive when creating, annotating, and printing drawings with MicroStation.

Step 3 MicroStation V8i Everything 3D

MicroStation 3D entails hands-on exercises representing real-world, industry-specific design scenarios, students explore the fundamental concepts and workflows for creating 3D models using MicroStation. Students learn how to create and modify both solid and surface models. This courseware also teaches students how to present their designs while they are still being created, using visualization tools such as visual styles, model walk and fly throughs, materials, and lighting. Students also learn how to output 3D models from MicroStation to either paper or a distributable, electronic version.

Important Notes

  • Students are to be at the training venue by 08h00 in preparation for a 08h30 start time.

  • The CAD Corporation retains the right to change this calendar without any notification.

  • Bookings are only confirmed upon receipt of the proof of payment or an official company purchase order for the full amount of the training.

  • For full day courses The CAD Corporation will supply you with the relevant training material. A desktop computer to use for the training (where applicable), tea/coffee and a full lunch for full day InClass training hosted at The CAD Corporation only. Catering is not included for OnSite training and laptop is available for hire at an additional cost if required.

  • Cancellation or rescheduling requests must be in writing and reach us via fax or email at least 5 (five) working days prior to the course commencement date. Full course fees may be retained for no shows or requests within 5 working days prior to commencement.

  • Although we go to great lengths to ensure that all training proceeds as scheduled, The CAD Corporation reserves the right to cancel or postpone dates if we require to do so and undertake to inform clients in writing and telephonically of these changes.

  • The CAD Corporation suggests clients wait until a week prior to course commencement that a course has been confirmed to go ahead as scheduled before booking flight and accommodation. The CAD Corporation is NOT responsible for cost associated with cancellation of classes such as flight and accommodation for clients.

  4. Tea/coffee and a light lunch will be provided.
  5. All university students will receive a 10% discount for cash payments.
  6. The minimum notice of cancellation is 5 (five) working days prior to the course commencement date. If you fail to do so the full amount is payable.
  7. Students are to be at the training venue by 08h00 in preparation for a 08h30 start time.
