AutoCAD Plant 3D 2014 Products &Training
You can now download AutoCAD® Plant 3D 2014 from our website and use it to design, model and document process plants. The software has been developed to run on the AutoCAD® software platform, offering a familiar design environment. With this software your designs will get a three-dimensional character. It’s the ideal package for engineers and plant designers.
AutoCAD® Plant 3D 2014 is specification driven and developed specifically to streamline the placement of components, structures and piping in designs. The package features integrated AutoCAD® P&ID functionality to enable the creation and editing of P&IDs. Easily use the existing data to create enhanced three-dimensional models.
You can use the software for the creation of isometrics and documents that can be shared. You can also purchase the entire Autodesk® Plant Design Suite that includes the Plant 3D software package.
The package has advanced features allowing you to work in specialised workspaces and to model specification driven pipelines manually or semi-automatically. You will love the search and report functionality that allows you to query and manage data that can also be exported. The package is compatible with the Autodesk® Navisworks and includes the ability to import specifications from a variety of applications.
Master the package
We offer two levels of courses presented live at specific locations in the major centres of Gauteng to help you master and gain certification in AutoCAD® Plant 3D.
Beginner course – Introduction to Plant Design
If you’re new to the AutoCAD® scene and want to learn how to use Plant 3D effectively enrol in the beginner course. You will learn how to use the package in daily applications such as plant designs or upgrades. You will also get hands-on experience to reinforce your skills in working with the software. The course includes a module on the creation of P&IDs through equipment connection and placement. Once the P&ID has been created you will learn how to generate reports and extract data as well as how to validate the P&ID.
The course includes your Certified Training Manual, the presentation, a dataset CD and a trial copy of AutoCAD® P&ID or Plant 3D. The broad outline of the course is as follows:
Apart from the beginner course we also present the Essentials Course that deals with the above and more advanced features. If you already have experience in working with AutoCAD® Plant 3D, and want to reinforce skills or add onto your existing mastery of the software, we recommend the Essentials Course.
